This has been a month of milestones for you!
You have 2 teeth now. You're eating stage 2 foods and really like any of the fruit & granola foods & risotto. You LOVE saltine crackers & are not a fan of Ritz. You eat your little puffs and are into foods that mommy or daddy are eating. You still take 3 bottles from Miss P and nurse 3-4 times in the afternoon/evening. We've found a sippy cup that is VERY similar to mommy's water bottle that you like so much. So now you are drinking water from your cup during the day too.
You're crawling around ALOT! You like to crawl over and play in the doggy bowls when we're in the kitchen getting dinner ready. The big window in the kitchen is a favorite too. Mostly you'll sit there and look at Dixie & Grace and bang on the window but lately you've started playing with the blinds. You crawl over to pull on any cord you can find if I look away even for a second. You pull up on the coffee table, entertainment center, bathtub, dog kennels, really anything you can get your hands on. You're a rough and tumble baby girl; you've had more bumps, bruises, & scratches than I can count this month.
You're talking. You've said "momma" and "dada" now. You make the best faces. Recently you've started to scrunch up your nose and blow air out at the same time with a BIG smile on your face. You love to blow raspberries just for the fun of it. You've been going to sleep about 8 each night and sleep til about 3:30. We sleep together from then to about 6:15 each morning. It'd be great to have you sleeping through the night but I cherish the time we have together each night.
You're wear 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. You're still not wearing shoes but maybe soon. You've finally got enough hair that I can get a clip-y bow into it but it will only stay for a little while. You most definitely do not like your new baseball hat but we'll keep trying.
You mostly play with your picnic basket & pianos. You've got a few stuffed animals that you're into too, your counting cow & Lenny Lamb. You like to knock down the blocks and chew on your rubber ducky. Your favorite toys are the things you're not supposed to have, like the remote, mommy's phone, & the computer. This month you played in your pool for the first time and really seemed to like the water a lot.
It seems like each month is going by faster than the last. This past one you've grown a lot & started really showing your personality. Like the way you really check people out before you warm up to them. The last time I weighed you at home you weighed 18 pounds but we'll check again when we go in for your appointment on Monday.
I love you Peepers!
Love,
Mommy
