Celebrating Our First Year

To celebrate our anniversary my parents kept Molly so Rustin and I could drive out to Coopers in Llano. We had an awesome lunch, by far the best BBQ in Texas. While we were eating it started to snow, and not just little bitty ice balls that non-snow seeing people call snow, but REAL snow-huge flakes!

After lunch we braved the snow/slush to check out some of the little antique shops. There were only a few open but that was plenty, these store were PACKED with great stuff. On the way home we couldn't help but stop and look at the eagles again. All in all it was a perfect little "road-trip".

When we got home the lady who'd baked our wedding cake had delivered a complimentary 1st anniversary cake that was the same flavors as our wedding cake. It was so sweet of her! Especially since the one from the freezer tasted pretty gross.
