8 Months

Molly,
I'm amazed at how much you've done in the last month. You've said your own version of Momma (which sounds a little more like bomma) and you'll hold your arms out to me and cry "Bomma". You've done the same thing with Daddy (which is more like Dddda). These last few weeks you've looked like you're really wanting to crawl and now you have. You really have to want whatever it is to put out the effort but it's fun to watch. You like to go a little ways and then sit back up on your booty. In the mornings when I get ready you like to use my PJ pants to pull yourself up and today you pulled up on your crib.

You LOVE your picnic basket and new stuffed Dixie dog. Blocks and anything else hard you can chew on is still a favorite. You don't spend much time in your excersaucer at home but love it and the walker at Miss Ps. You'll play with your piano and anything else that lights up. Right now your "no no, not for Molly toys" are the remote, mommy's phone & keys. You love to make faces at familiar faces but if you're sleepy you're not as willing to give out smiles. You love your "Sweet Molly-Molls" & "Little Molly" songs that I sing to you.

You got the flu this last month & pulled the laptop over on yourself but no major trips to the doctor's thank goodness. You're wearing some 6 month clothes but have moved into the 9 month stuff. You just started to wear size 3 diapers. I don't know what we're going to do with out the tell tale blue line :) There's still no teeth but maybe they'll pop up soon.

You go to bed around 8 and sleep for 6 hours or so. Then you eat and fall back to sleep until it's time to get up. You've tried quite a lot of food by now but don't really seem all that interested in eating it. I've started just mashing what's on my plate and letting you try it. You for sure don't like carrots or peas. You'll eat bananas and squash and sweet potatoes though.

I love you little one! Let's see what wonderful new things this next month will bring.
