Houston...we have Grass!!

For most people this is not a big deal. However we rent our home, and the grass was dead long before we moved in. I guess our HOA doesn't remember what it looked like before.

So they've been sending us letters to "bring the lawn up to code" for a month or so now. I'm sure they haven't been watching the news to see that we've been in a D4 level drought since April (less than .5 inches)

Anyhow about 2 weeks ago my sweet dad and brother came over and spent the better part of the day tearing out and bagging all the dead grass. My dad came over again the following week to re-seed and figure out the best set up for watering. Which Rustin and I have been very good about.

Tuesday for the first time we saw it
